No your not infected...that was the on line scanner telling you the site you were visiting had a possible Trojan infection...Avast blocked it from going on your pc...when you hit abort..that ended everything...go into your settings and view your log...the entry should be in the warning category...i get those now and then...no big deal....your fine...relax.............I have Avast on my pc also.....and i have had 10 of those in the last 3 months....Q&A For PC

I have Avast on my PCQ&A For PC

I have Avast and when I've hit Abort Connection it didn't let anything through. Maybe the Web Shield thing is from something else. Have you right clicked on it to see what it is.?
Do you have Malwarebytes.? If you don't then you need to get it. It is a powerful virus/malware killer. If anything gets through Avast, MB will get it. Sorry to mention another download but everyone should have MB in their arsenal. Good Luck.Q&A For PC

ahaha...
avast is very sensitive anti-virus, even the flash disk that once affected and the virus erased, still it can detect...

the thing is.. avast cannot delete viruses it can only move the virus in a thing called "move to chest" and so, the virus still there.. once you erased it, it can erase also the system the virus attached.. so dont try erasing that...

just consult your PC doctor to reformat your PC -be ready to save your files.... Pictures first!

after that, install other antivirus that can "HEAL" (not DELETE) the incoming viruses....

im.... im using avast too.. XDQ&A For PC

Avast is notorious for false-positive results. Truly, do yourself a favor and look for a different AV program.Q&A For PC
