How do I change mp3/wav format into cda format?!

Question:
How do I change mp3/wav format into cda format.?
I would like to burn some audible CDs (the original cda format) for my dad which he can listen to in his car. His car has no mp3. I don't think he know how to use i-pod also. Besides, we don't want to invest too much on a fairly old car. Preferably free programs. Thank you in advance.Q&A For PC

Answers:
Let's clear up one thing for a start.
cda is not a format. A cda file is an information file for the CD player.
To enable the files to be played on any CD player they need to be in wav format. Commonly called a music CD.
When you view the contents of a music CD with Explorer it only shows the files like so: Track01.cda, Track02.cda etc. They are all the same size.
They are not the actual music files.

You will need to convert your mp3 files to wav format so your dad can play them in the car.
Any songs which are already in wav format will not need converting.
You can do that with this app from Koyote Soft.

Better still it's free.

You will only get approx 18 - 22 tracks per CD because of the larger file sizes.
Limit the burn speed to no more than 24x to reduce the chance of errors during the burn process.
Open the disk in explorer after you've burned it.
All the files will have a cda extension.Q&A For PC
